In business for over 10 years, Quad A Construction is proud to be a family-owned and -operated general and remodeling contractor in Holt, Michigan, now teaching our third generation how to look after our customers and the livelihood of our family construction business. Owned by John (Jay) Nyboer and his wife, Mandy, our goal is always to make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied with our quality workmanship, attention to detail and exemplary customer service.
Meet the Owners
Mandy is a stay-at-home mom who handles the bookkeeping aspects of our business, as well as taking care of our granddaughter 5-6 days per week and enjoying crafting during her spare time. When he’s not busy building, John is passionate about all of Michigan State University’s sports teams, as well as the Detroit Tigers and the Lions. He also enjoys traveling with his family, frequenting our cottage at Higgins Lake, and playing indoor soccer with a group of his friends during the fall, summer and spring months.
How Did You Come up with Quad A Construction?
Many ask us how we came up with the name “Quad A Construction.” Well, the answer is quite simple: we have four children named Arica, Alex, Aryn and Austin! Our oldest daughter Arica is a licensed pharmacy technician and has recently blessed us with our first granddaughter, while our 17-year-old son Alex is getting straight A’s in school and has developed a love for basketball. Our 15-year-old daughter Aryn is also a great student, loves soccer and has a desire to be just like her dad.
She has begun working with him during the summer to start learning Construction: 101, which she she’s been very passionate about thus far. Our 12-year-old son Austin plays on an elite soccer team (Rush) and keeps us very busy with traveling to his games. His passion for soccer goes beyond words that we can describe!
